Encroachment Permit

Apply to work within a county right-of-way. Review requirements and payment options, then submit online or download the application.

When is an Encroachment Permit Required?

You must complete an Encroachment Permit Application if you intend to perform any work within a county right-of-way. Specific documents, fees, and bond funds are required. Bond funds will be refunded upon a successful inspection one year after proof of completion is provided to the Engineer’s Office. See the permit application for details.

Payment Information

  • Check — Make payable to Iron County Engineering.
  • Cash — Accepted in person.
  • Credit/Debit — A 2.5% processing fee applies. Call the Engineer’s Office at 435-865-5370.
