Iron County boasts a variety of scenic parks and recreational areas ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The 5-Mile Picnic Area offers a serene retreat among striking red rocks and pinyon-juniper forests—plus trail access to Noah’s Ark and Vermillion Castle.

For shooting sports, the Iron County Shooting Range supports a wide range of disciplines. This is an unsupervised facility—please follow posted rules and practice safe habits.

The Three Peaks Recreation Area spans thousands of acres with camping, group pavilions, mountain biking, disc golf, OHV routes, and more.

Along SR-14, Wood Ranch features picnic spots, hiking, fishing at Kid’s Pond, and access to the Virgin River Rim Trail.
